On Tuesday May 5, 2015, Marius, Jono and Gary walked part of the Scottsville suburb making Gospel tract distribution in the post boxes and to all who passed by us on the streets. We had some brief conversations and two lengthy Gospel presentations.
The first was with a young female Varsity student named Thando, who was speaking to her male friend Muzu on York Road, who said she was heading to heaven and then questioned most things about the Christian faith and saying “we” cannot judge other peoples’ religions / faiths, and that we all worship the same “God”. We earnestly brought it to Thando’s attention that the Lord Jesus Christ who we serve said we are to judge, but our judging is to be righteous judgment as we read, for it is written:
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. ~ John 7:24
We further expounded upon Thando’s ecumenical statement that not all religions / faiths can be true as the Hindus worship everything as a god and they have over 300,000,000 (i.e. Three Hundred Million!) gods including a jesus to fit with their gods, whilst the Muslims worship a moon god known as Allah and the Mohammedeans do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God manifest in human flesh, and then there are the Darwinian Evolutionists who believe everything evolved and there is no Creator God as they do not want to be accountable to their Creator, and then there are the Judeo-Christians who believe in the Triune Creator God YHVH, Who is Yahshua HaMeshiach, our Lord Jesus Christ. The question was posed to Thando: Then what religion / faith is the correct one? Not every religious faith system can be true as they all contradict each other. The True religion and faith was then shared with Thando that the only way to the Father – Who is the Creator God – is as the Lord Jesus Christ said:
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ~ John 14:6
With this Divine statement there is Only ONE WAY, there is Only ONE TRUTH, and there is Only ONE LIFE by Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ eradicated every other "religion, faith and belief” system – that are man-made and not of GOD – with this ONE infinite statement that forever settles the Heaven or Hell quandary that awaits every person past, present and future. Thando was warned not to drink the coolant water that is 99% pure and 1% poisonous arsenic that corrupts the pure and is therefore lethal to one’s spiritual health. We finished off this discussion by handing Thando the “Creation vs. Evolution ~ Do Not Let Darwin Make a Monkey Out of You” Gospel tract warning her of the lies being taught in the University system that will take a vast majority of students straight to Hell if they fail to Repent and trust in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation during this life time!
Later, the second Gospel presentation was with four young Indian men at the bottom dead-end of Windsor Road. There were much tattoos and ear-and-eyebrow piercings on display. There names are Bradley (a Jehovah’s Witness), Sash and Jermaine (Christians) and Tyrique (not sure). Their religious beliefs only came out towards the end of the Gospel presentation, but they were concerned about their plight come the Day of Judgment. Jermaine seemed really concerned and was sober to the facts presented as he said he needs to start reading his Bible and also start attending Church again. We pray our Sovereign GOD will draw them to Himself. Gary took them into the court room, so-to-speak, placing them before a judge where they are unable to pay a multi-million Rand fine and so they are to spend a life-time in prison, when “some-one” you do not know comes in and pays the fine on your behalf out of love and “you” are free to leave the court room. This was a scenario of what our Lord Jesus Christ did for the sinner upon the cross of Calvary when He paid the fine – the wrath of GOD – that rests upon us that if we believe upon Him we can have our sins forgiven and walk free as a new creation. It was only after sharing this with them that it was revealed that some of their dads are Policemen. Praise be to GOD for this encounter.
We do ask for prayers for every person who was confronted with the Law of God and His Grace that can save and the many pieces of Gospel literature that was distributed.
The day’s route was: Lindup – York – Windsor – Buckingham – Windsor – Alexandra – Lindup – Buckingham.
Later the evening whilst reading up on and comparing Scriptures from the Book of Daniel we had load-shedding – but we were still able to read aloud by candlelight :)
A good lesson while taking photos in darkness is that when light enters darkness must flee! Jesus is the true Light! (see John 1:9)
